Summary
IGSaver is designed to collect as little as possible. We don’t require an account, we don’t store the links you paste, and we don’t store the files you download.
Links you paste
When you submit an Instagram link, our server uses it once to look up the public media files, then discards it. Links are not written to logs or databases and are not shared with anyone.
Files you download
Media files are streamed from Instagram’s servers to your device. They pass through our server only to give them a proper filename, and they are never saved.
Technical data
To protect the service from abuse, we count requests per IP address over a one-minute window. These counters expire automatically and are not linked to the links you paste. Our hosting providers (Cloudflare and Railway) may keep standard server logs for security purposes.
If an error occurs, we log the type of error (for example “not found”) without the link that caused it.
Cookies and local storage
IGSaver itself sets no tracking cookies. Your light/dark theme choice is saved in your browser’s local storage and never leaves your device.
We may show ads from third-party ad networks. These partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show relevant ads and measure performance, subject to their own privacy policies and, where required by law, your consent.
Your rights
